‘dorothy and the cowardly lion’ illustrations

Dorothy and The Cowardly Lion is a project based on a chapter of a children’s e-storybook. From the age-old classic The Wizard of OZ, this specific chapter tells and illustrates the point in the story in which the iconic group finds its final member, the cowardly lion. With illustrations inspired by the book, Dorothy and The Cowardly Lion gives kids a chance to read and imagine the original telling of this story. The illustrations in this chapter exhibit a visual pairing, modernized both in presentation and delivery. My goal was to give them a scrapbook-like feel with different textures and a sense of depth.
