Rebrand Exercise

For this senior project, I was tasked with choosing a product and a brand to revamp along with it. From early on in the development of this project, I knew that I wanted to use a collapsible umbrella as my product, and Patagonia is what suited it best. Patagonia is an extremely respectable, climate conscious brand that I felt would be a perfect match. It has many qualities that I love about the brand, but also many aspects I think could be improved upon. My goal for this project was to add more visual interest and modern usability to Patagonia as a brand, while still maintaining its strict values and honest approach. To achieve this, I made the logo more usable/versatile, added a secondary logo, and played more with the use of patterns and color.
